About the Position

We are looking for summer substitutes for laboratory work at our accredited water laboratory. As a summer employee, you will cover for our regular laboratory staff during the summer vacation weeks 25–33. The water laboratory handles various types of samples, including drinking water, wastewater, and sludge from treatment plants and biogas facilities.

Responsibilities for the Laboratory Work Substitute:

• Prepare and plan work for the analysis of incoming samples
• Preparation of solutions and substrates
• Perform analyses of various samples and deliver results to customers
• Laboratory desk, cleaning, and tidying up

You will work at the water laboratory in our new premises in Boländerna. The position is of varying length and scope according to agreement, with a planned start around week 25. The scope can vary between 75–100%.

Qualifications

• Interest in natural sciences, water, and the environment
• Graduation from high school with a focus on natural sciences
• Experience in laboratory work
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good computer skills

Additional Information

A large part of our operations is classified as critical infrastructure since we supply Sweden's fourth largest city with drinking water. For this position, a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.
